My brother asked if I could build a dulcimer with a Nordic Viking theme. He provided the plans, wood, and hardware. This was my second dulcimer build. It was a fun challenge to carve a dragon for the headpiece. The design and illustration for the dulcimer body were inspired by a couple of books I have on Viking history and art.
