Brute Nature Versus Wild Magic by Inca Ore. "Inca Ore is the solo voice of Eva, the singer of such fine bands as Alarmist and Malibu Falcon. Inca Ore travels the cosmos on fiery phoenix mattresses with the voice of a goose-quilled cloud pillow siren calling to all the constellations in the universe. Eva uses her vocal range and delay complement to create the sounds of entire sorceress covens through her lone voice. Lovely psychedelic drone mixed with narcoleptic folk. An enchantress of the highest order! Side A was previously issued as a CD-R in a small pressing of 100 copies on the Collective Jyrk label. The B-side is a brand new track consisting of one astounding, 18-minute interstellar vocal trance-out!" Artwork by Aaron Winters at Abide Visuals."

"To begin, let me anoint this corner.
Bless this space with a spell:
one circle drawn with Pacific Ocean water
tear drops each of poppy tea, Scotch, infant spit, Absinthe, Portland rain, motor oil culled from a Detroit gutter
at the alter: camomile flowers, hair of Thurston, aloe, sensimilla, Chinese muscle plaster, coconut oil, cashew, dino kale, $2 bill gift from witch or spirit in Northampton, cement rock from the North American gate of hell
you can hear: 40 meow, "No Pussyfooting," Kemialliset Ystavat, Ariel Pink, humming, bicycle tire on pavement sound
you can smell these perfumes: garlic, habenero, eucalyptus, Gaulthier and McQueen"
"Eva was a friend before Inca Ore, we met her while we all were in Portland and she was part of our ragtag crew.. She ended up being our roadie on our first US tour. She didn't have a job at the time, had a good work ethic and, most importantly, was good at keeping the temp down socially most of the time. She was invaluable on that trip and got us out of a few jams.. Gabe and I moved to Oakland.. Eva moved down a few months later bc she needed a shift. She moved into our warehouse, Grandma's house, and borrowed a bunch of gear.. She eventually spat out this, her first release.. the start of the Inca Ore thing.. and it's pretty fully formed.. If you listen to like Birthday Of Bless You or Silver Sea Surfer School, it's here... From this point, she got a Line 6 and her own gear and made some great tunes, and toured a bunch on her own. This CDR stays perfect. Odd magic from an old friend trying to find her way then like we are all always and striking gold." - Pete Swanson
