The TicPods Free are true wireless earbuds and after 6 months of use, Mobvoi’s TicPods Free have been a pleasant surprise, the Ticpods Free have emerged as a true competitor for Apple’s AirPods. With many features such as built in intuitive touch controls, IPX5 water resistant, 18 hours of battery life on a single charge and excellent sound isolation are the TicPods Free really better than the Apple AirPods? This and many other questions are answered in this in-depth Ticpods Free review. The Ticpods are available in three different colors red, navy blue and white. They retail for $194 Canadian, which makes them 25 dollars cheaper than Apple AirPods. While the AirPods are strictly meant for iOS (even though they do work on android also), the TicPods Free were designed to be used on both iOS and android. Sound quality reproduction on these true wireless earbuds have been impressive to say the least, bass is a little heavy but it is perfect for consumers who love to listen to music with a heavier bass. Wearing the TicPods to the gym has been a pleasant surprise, the combination of both sound isolation and water resistant features on the headphones meant I could tune out my surrounding environment and listen to music without worrying about sweating all over my earbuds and potentially harming them. Mobvoi’s first attempt at true wireless earbuds in my book is a successful attempt they almost included all essential features I’ve been asking for in pair of wireless earbuds. I cannot wait to see what Mobvoi has in store with the TicPods Free 2.
