AlgerBlanche brings together over 2,200 glyphs and combines four scripts—the Arabic, Latin, Greek, and Tifinagh—into a single type family for a coherent and versatile visual expression. Drawing on the gestures and rhythms of Arabic calligraphy, Naskh and Kufic, it highlights local and geographic phonetic particularities while ensuring consistent legibility across printed and digital supports. The design favors a sculptural harmony between the scripts: forms and proportions interact to create a unique typographic identity capable of orchestrating messages across diverse media—logos, visual identities, interfaces, packaging—while remaining legible at various resolutions. Kerning is applied uniformly across all scripts, guaranteeing cohesive letter spacing and harmonized optical rhythms for every contextual combination.
The objective is to harmonize these four writing systems so they work together in the same compositional configurations and on the same graphical palettes. This visual continuity strengthens the brand image, combining traditional elegance with modernity in contemporary design, and offers a fluid, cohesive typographic experience.
