How much perlite do you really need in your carnivorous plant mix?

We recommend a soil mix of 50% peat moss and 50% perlite for Sarracenia, Venus flytraps, and sundews. Other nurseries recommend no more than 20%. And some growers use just straight peat moss. Let's dive in to figure out what percentage provides optimal aeration and drainage.
