Allied campaign Mission 1 : Operation overlord

World war 2 .. D-Day : June 6th 1944

operation overlord starts with a massive landing on the Normandy beach
the goal is to capture Normandy and push through the German Defensive Lines.

The Germans prepared defensive line made of thousands of bunkers, trenches and anti tank ditches.
but the Allies succeed to land the infantry divisions supported by medium tanks, among them is the allied war horse ( the Sherman tanks )
The Germans met The allies landing with heavy artillery shells and machine-gunners protected in bunkers.
The Allies plan is to bomb the area using long range artillery from the naval ships and Air force.
and to drop infantry all around and behind the German lines to make a better landing.

Result : Allied forces captures the beach of Normandy and push its way through France.
