The 'infamous Toccata' !! Widor's fifth symphony concludes with this fiery toccata which has understandably become one of the most well known pieces of organ literature. I have always played this way too fast, and even here could likely have slowed down a notch or two more. Enjoy!

This is recorded on the newly released 'Nancy' sampleset by Piotr Grabowski. This is an incredible technological achievement - and will put any computer through its paces I have loaded the set with Front and Rear channels in full 24-bit quality, and the Close channels in 16-bit (to help with some clarity). The acoustic of the building is astonishing, and is perhaps one of the longest that I know of that is currently available for Hauptwerk.
