Dogs are easily the most loyal animals on earth who never forget our kindness.
This particularly applies to street dogs.
While offering food is perhaps the best way of getting to know a street dog, it is our love, our compassion, our acceptance that they remember forever.
We might forget a dog after a few years, but they always remember us till the time they die.
This video features a simple story about the friendship between a young woman and a young street dog who she names Fluffy and spans a period of over ten years.
They meet during the woman’s morning jog, when she is still in her early twenties, living in a women’s hostel, and a deep bond forms between the two. The young woman goes overseas for further studies, and eventually settles down there, while Fluffy waits every day outside her hostel, hoping to see her again.
Ten years pass, and the woman, now married and the mother of a young girl, returns on a short visit and comes to her jogging area, hoping to see Fluffy again.
Life on the street has taken its toll and the street dog has grown very old. She does see him sleeping on the pavement but isn’t sure it is Fluffy.
Fluffy, however, recognizes the scent of the woman immediately, walks up to her on weak, wobbly legs, and the years seem to melt away.
She visits Fluffy every day on her short visit, but soon the time comes for her to go home again.
She is in tears as she leaves for the airport, knowing that she will never see her old friend again.
But poor Fluffy doesn’t know that, and continues to wait for the woman, hoping to see her again.

The purpose of creating and posting such videos is a small attempt to create awareness amongst the public about the need for man and stray to live together in peace and harmony.
