Some gullies are small enough to be treated with simple and cost-effective solutions such as leaky weirs, using materials available on site.

Under NQ Dry Tropics' Healing Country 2.0 project, First Nations environmental teams constructed leaky weirs across the region. This video explains what leaky weirs are, how and where they're used, and how to build them.
