The original video The Joy Formidable did for Whirring in 2009 and released on their EP A Balloon Called Moaning. Filmed in Northern Wales and directed by Dain Bedford, this version lacks the long, anthemic (and great) outro of the more popular video version but is somehow closer to the song itself.
