The worst NBA 3-Point Contest was a hideous mix of bad shooters and great shooters failing miserably

The NBA always has enough shooting talent to stock a solid 3-Point Contest, but sometimes things just don't line up right. In 2000, great shooters like Jeff Hornacek, Ray Allen, and Dirk Nowitzki underperformed, and some other shooters shouldn't have been there in the first place. Allen Iverson may or may not have had a thumb that was still broken. On the night of one of the best dunk contests ever, the 2000 3-Point Contest was the WORST.
