Temperature Blanket 2023: THE END

Here we are.
After some bordering you can see the final result. It was a hard year, but finally I’ve done the blanket.
Managing 3 colors was a little bit complicated, and in this year’s November-December in Hungary was especiallly warm, so some colors is overrepresented in the blanket.
bUt it was fun, the result is beautiful, and the blanket became a really cozy item.

This channel is a tiny-tiny channel, and every comment, every like gives me joy. Thank you for being here, and on 1th of February the first month of the 2024 Temperature Blanket will come!
And after that many-many new content (after my exams, but I’ll will be official a taylor, so theres no limit! :D)

---About the border

I’ve crocheted 16 half hexagons with Bottle, to make the shorter sides even.
(I’ve used this pattern:
   • CROCHET: Half solid hexagon | Bella Coco  )

Then 1 row single crochet with Aster, int he video, you can see, what I’ve done, int he corners.
Then another single crochet row, with Bottle.
And in the end one row surface crochet with Lincoln. I crochet the surface crochet tightly, so I up the crochet hook from 4 to 4,5.

This border is a simple look, but the blanket is so colorful, I thought it is enough.

This year my temperature blanket, my fitfth temperature blanket, will be special. Everyday is one hexagon, and in one hexagon I’m going to crochet the daily mean, minimum and maximum tempreatures.

Because the blanket this time a hexagon type blanket, I need in the end of the year 366 hexagons. That’s because, I started it on 31st of December.
