12:00:53 A-A shots B-17 & Martin B--26 Marauder (?) bombers in formation.
12:01:13 MCU aircraft wheel lowered plane comes into land.
12:01:28 US ground crew re-arms plane; air crew into truck; bomb loading & tightening fin on bomb; crew into truck; out to B-26 airplane; flash slate: 22Apr45.
12:02:38 Crew enter aircraft; bombardier adjusts sights.
12:03:09 Pilot & navigator close hatches & windows.
12:03:18 Returning crew out of plane, board truck, talk & smoke; truck leaves airfield.
12:04:08 Small truck pulling trailers w/ bombs & ground crew, planes parked behind on flight line, POV on truck w/ crewman playing harmonica. Truck to plane. Men push bomb trailer into place beneath plane.
12:05:19 Slate: Capt. Browning 21Apr. Airmen out of truck w/ parachutes & sign clipboard beneath plane nose. MCUs, light cigarette, talk, sit on bombs talking. Mascot dog handed to them. CU putting out cigarette on bomb, boading plane. Pilot gives okay to ground crew, into cockpit.
12:08:01 Slate. came 19April (?). Men fuzing bombs, hoisted into plane, bomb bay doors closed.
12:09:20 MCU chocks removed, crew into aircraft;
12:09:49 MCU chalking Happy Birthday Hoimann! From Duffy’s Tavern.
12:10:06 Interior: Navigator into seat next to pilot, pilot hang’s baby shoes (talisman / good luck) in front, CU patting them. Hands on controls.
12:10:43 Slate: 24Apr. Capt. Browning. Machine gunner pivoting gun from outside plane. Motors start. CU controls, pilot helped into protective vest, puts on helmet.
12:12:33 Cuts: CU dog sitting on bomb & w/ ground crewman; man tightening fin on bomb; plane towed; bombs raised into plane; belt of ammunition packed.
