Welcome to my step by step tutorial on how to open Asus TUF FX505 laptop, clean it and change the thermal paste for improved performance and longevity.
This steps can be applied for different other laptops but you need to take in consideration the position of the screws and the layout of the components.

As you will see in the video the laptop, specially the CPU cooler was so clogged with dust and it was barely moving.
As a result the laptop was overheating and the performance was very low.

After a good clean up and new thermal paste, the laptop works perfect.
