Story:
The events are not in chronological order (present time+memories)
Present: Optimus is coming home to Cybertron, but Cybertron is destroyed, there is no life.
Optimus remembers the Earth, the people and especially his best friends, Sam and Cade, whom he was able to gain a strong relationship. He recalls how he spent his time on Earth. There were good and bad monents, for example, he was disappointed in his colleagues, he recalls Cade helped him recover after serious injury.
Present: Walking through his destroyed planet, Optimus finds Quintessa who deceives him and makes him evil and sends to Earth so he destroyed it. Optimus fights and tries to free himself from her control. Cade and Bumblebee come to his aid. All is well with Optimus.
Then present and memories are mixed. It shows how Optimus always fight side by side with people, especially with Sam and Cade, they protect and save each other, because their bond is strong. They're family.
