Another Gorillaz fandub I decided to do. This time, it’s of an animatic for the Gorillaz book “Rise of the Ogre”. It’s about the origins of Murdoc, Noodle, 2D, and Russel. The animatic belongs to the perfect TrenchMan93. Everyone that contributed to the animatic are perfect people. I’d give anything just to be as talented as they are.


Doing the baby Murdoc voice was rather simple. However, since the beginning of this week, it’s become shitty because the universe likes to make my life worse. It used to be smooth and innocent. Now, it sounds creepy and scratchy. It’ll take a “miracle” for me to get back to my former glory.

Finding the right voice for Sebastian Niccals was a bit of a challenge. However, after doing some thinking, I thought that Jeremy Irons would be perfect as Sebastian Niccals. Nothing against the animatic’s voice actor for Sebastian. In order to do Sebastian’s voice, I just channeled my inner Scar but made it less Shakespearean.
