The RX Vega 56 vs Nvidia GTX 1070 benchmarks resulted in close numbers in most tasks comparing to the GTX 1070 VS Vega 56 price gap. The Vega 56 wins by a small margin in most except power consumption. Vega 56 is strong in 1440p (2K/QHD) and 4K (2160p/UHD) resolution, both perform excellent in 1080p (Full HD)!

The GPUs were tested in gaming and benchmark to test the performance in varied scenarios. The resolutions that were tested were 1080p (Full HD), 1440p (QHD) and 4K (UHD) in the games: Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V), Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds (pubg), Battlefield 1, Fallout 4, The Witcher 3, Forza Motorsport 6: Apex, Call of Duty WW2, Rise of the Tomb Raider. And the benchmarks: Unigine Superposition, Futuremark 3DMark Time Spy, Futuremark 3DMark Fire Strike, As well as a power consumption test. No overclocking was performed.
