SUFFOLK PUFFS OR YO YOs | Part 2 Using Layers, Frills, Beading & Composition | Didsbury Art Studio

Just when you thought there wasn't anymore you could do with Suffolk Puffs!😉 In this Part 2 video I share with you my Didsbury Art Studio class which I teach every Saturday. We're adding tons of beads today to newly created Yo Yos and we're layering, stacking and composing them in exciting ways. I personally also love the fabrics we are using some rough, smooth, transparent, thin, thick textures which all have an influence on our final creations.

What do you work as?
After doing my Textiles degree I did my PGCE teacher training at Goldsmiths, University of London to become an Art and Design Secondary School Teacher. Currently, I work in a hospital teaching art part-time to mainly 16 -18 year olds. In addition, I teach art in my studio on Saturdays and I give textile workshops to schools. I set up this channel in April 2020 after being furloughed during lockdown but soon realised I really enjoyed designing, creating projects, filming and editing my videos....so if you'd like to support me please subscribe!
