These frequencies, when sustained, maintain their effect on our brain through our ears as we listen to them.
In some cases, we will post sustained frequencies that move across the audio spectrum, along with music designed to resonate within the tones of these frequencies to guide the intention of the audio.
In other cases, we will post only the frequencies without music for shorter meditation sessions and therapies focused on various results.
For sustained frequency audios without music, 5 or 10 minutes at a normal volume is fine. For longer durations and extended meditations, a tolerable volume is sufficient. You can listen for a longer period if you feel it has been beneficial for you during the experience.
However, you can also listen for 15, 30, 60 minutes, or even hours to aid sleep when the audio includes sustained frequencies along with music to guide the journey.
Remember that everything we hear is within the audible frequency spectrum for humans (approximately from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz), but not all sounds are sustained; everything starts and stops, and sounds interleave.
That's the power of sustained frequencies: they apply their geometry over time and resonance, yielding a more potent effect than other sounds.
That's why it's important to listen to what your body tells you with each frequency, as we are not all the same, nor are we all seeking the same results.
