Sakya Gongma Rinpoche's Historic Visit to Bhutan

Last week Sakya Gongma Trichen Rinpoche made a groundbreaking visit to Bhutan – the first in decades by a high-ranking Tibetan Buddhist leader. Complex geopolitical factors often restrict such visits, making this event historically significant.
During the visit, Sakya Gongma Rinpoche met with Bhutan's King and Queen, offering religious teachings to tens of thousands of devoted Bhutanese.
