Jeff Teague 18 Points/6 Assists/2 Dunks Full Highlights (2/3/2020)

Описание к видео Jeff Teague 18 Points/6 Assists/2 Dunks Full Highlights (2/3/2020)

Jeff Teague is back to where it all started: Atlanta, the place where he was voted an All-Star that one year because the Hawks were winning so many god-damn games and then they got swept by LeBron anyway. Am I remembering that right? Maybe they took one game off LeBron, but I don't think so. Budenholzer really is more of a regular-season coach, as much as it pains me to say it as a Bucks fan.

I can't imagine that the fans are all too excited about Teague's return, since the Hawks during his tenure didn't really do much in terms of winning (besides meaningless regular season games) and he was always just a solid PG. Never a really flashy one, just one that got the job done. There are certainly fans who really appreciate what he did for them, but excitement? That's really pushing it. Bob Rathbun can exclaim "Teague Time!" as much as he wants, no one's going to be hyped while Trae Young is around.

As far as I can tell, the only reason the Hawks are playing any games at all right now is so that Young can accumulate stats/highlights. Wins aren't happening right now, but social media likes are almost just as good, and Young can get those better than almost anybody, so the Hawks strategy of featuring him makes total sense. But Teague gets in the way of that. Just in this game, he had 6 assists, a couple of them to John Collins. Those assists to Collins should've been passed by Young. Teague was STEALING Young's assists. Young didn't even get 10 of them, because a bunch of them were STOLEN by the supposed MENTOR. And we're not even going to mention the 18 points. Young could've had 50 (plus a couple of dunks) if he had rightfully been given the chance to score those 18 points. But he didn't, because his chances were ROBBED of him.

Teague isn't just ruining my life anymore. He's ruining Young's.
