Way Huge Aqua Puss Original MKI (MN3005) vs MKII | John Mayer and Brad Paisley Setting Comparison

Описание к видео Way Huge Aqua Puss Original MKI (MN3005) vs MKII | John Mayer and Brad Paisley Setting Comparison

Comparison of an original Aqua Puss MKI MN3005 vs stock MkII. I always heard about how great the original was and I can't afford a real one so I built one! My take: It lives up to the hype. The MK2 feels "sanitized" and loses the bottom end when enabled. The MK1 preserves the input signal frequency sweep and keeps the bottom end. Repeats tamper down high frequencies as it should whereas the Mk2's repeats are much "brighter." The delay is much, much longer on the Mk1 as well.

Signal chain for the comparison part of the video. I purposefully kept the buffers in front of the Aqua Puss because that's 99% likely how one would use this on their pedalboard:
Strat w/ CS'69 - Ditto X2 - Boss TU3 - Katana (off) - Klon (off) - BB Mk1 (true bypass) - TS-10 (off) - Aqua Puss Mk1/Mk2 (both with true bypass) - Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III
