With all the different measurement techniques and technologies to measure laser power, it is not surprising that these measurements can appear very daunting, and erroneous results are sometimes obtained inadvertently. This talk will review the technologies and techniques for effective laser power measurement, with a story or two about where a laser power measurement went horribly wrong.
