Waldmann Xetra Vienna Fountain Pen Packaging:

The black box is sturdy and nice-looking with the Waldmann branding. The top lifts off and one of the sides fold down to easily pull out the interior box. The pen is in a nice gift box with a silver, branded clasp. Inside the box the pen is in a protective sleeve.

What Comes with the Pen:

Under the false bottom, you'll find the pen's registration card, a small, plastic emblem that notes Sterling Silver, 925, and Made in Germany. The pen also comes with an ink converter and a pack of 6 Waldman ink cartridges (Royal Blue in this unboxing).

The Pen's Design:

The Waldmann Xetra Vienna fountain pen is a beautiful high polished laquer off-white finish. The cap features hand engraving (so every pen will be unique). The cap also features a gold end cap and a thinner ring of gold at the bottom of the cap with Waldmann and Made in Germany engraved.

The Pen's Mechanics:

This is a cartridge converter pen. The cap is threaded (don't try to pull it off, it screws off), and the cap is not only postable, but posts very well.
