Max Mercury's Warning: Saving Wally West from the Black Flash

Max warned Wally, saving him, but the Black Flash then trapped Wally’s girlfriend, Linda, in the Speed Force. Believing Linda was dead, a devastated Wally lost his connection to the Speed Force and became powerless, deciding to move on as a professor in Scotland. Before he could leave, time froze, signaling the Black Flash's return.
Despite help from allied speedsters, no one could match the Black Flash’s speed. When Wally saw his friends in danger, he regained his powers and led the Black Flash on a chase so fast they transcended time. They eventually reached a future where death no longer existed, causing the Black Flash to vanish. With the threat gone, Wally rescued Linda from the Speed Force and returned to the present.
