I played the Pirc Defense as White. The opponent started with an aggressive variation — c5, then d5 — developing his bishop on f5 and knight on h6. Then I noticed that if he castled, his knight could be attacked by my queen on d2 and bishop on e3. When the king together with the fianchettoed bishop supported the kingside, I could push the pawn to g4. If the opponent traded pawns on g4, I would be able to open the h-file and attack the knight as well as checkmate the king. The opponent overlooked a chance for counterattack with …Na5 on the other side of the board and lost quickly.
