GST, HST, PST - Sales Tax for Small Business in Canada Explained

In my last video, I shared what you should know about income tax, CPP, and EI if you're self-employed or have a side hustle. Just as important is knowing about sales tax! There is quite a bit of nuance when it comes to sales tax, if you're just starting out and need guidance, I highly recommended hiring an accountant to help you out (that's what I did and it was so worth it!). But, to help you better understand some of the key things with registering, collecting and remitting sales tax (GST, HST, PST, RST, QST), I explain it all in this video.

I go into way more detail than what's shared in this video in my blog post, so make sure to read it after! I also want to mention that I myself am not an accountant or CPA, I've just been running my business for almost 4 years and this is what I've learned and what I do.
