In the late 1950s, early 1960s, I was a fan of The Adventures of Superman TV show, starring George Reeves as Superman and Jack Larson as his sidekick, cub reporter Jimmy Olsen.

Fifty-plus years later and I'm still a fan of the show and of Jack Larson, for coming out of the closet, years ago, and being a role model for the LGBT community. Taking another trip down Gay History Lane, I just visited his grave site in Rose Hills Memorial Park, in Whittier, California.

RIP Jack Larson and Jimmy Olsen!
