Thailand’s Sahachai Kijkarnpim Co. adopts HP Indigo 12000 digital printing to unbox growth in folding cartons. The first HP Indigo 12000 digital press for folding cartons in Southeast Asia has been installed in Thailand.

Founded in 1959, Sahachai Kijkarnpim Co., Ltd. specializes in custom folding and printing cartons for food and consumer products, from shelf-ready displays to promotional and gift packaging, beverage cartons and more. The company installed the HP Indigo 12000 for digitally printed folding cartons in January 2020 at its Bangkok headquarters.

Faced with rising demand for short-run jobs, Sahachai Kijkarnpim wanted to streamline its production workflow. Unlike offset printing—the method the company has traditionally used for short print runs—digital print technology removes the need to use separate plates for each run.
