Stormy Seaside Step by Step Acrylic Painting on Canvas for Beginners

In this video, we're gonna get together and learn how to paint a stormy sky over a crashing wave. This is a little more intermediate than some of my other videos, but there's no reason a beginner can't do it!

I’m painting on a 16x20-inch stretched canvas, but you can paint on any type and size of canvas you like.

I used:
• A 1-inch flat brush
• A 1/2-inch flat brush
• A 1/4-inch flat brush
• A large brush for scrubbing clouds
• A smaller brush for scrubbing
• A 1/2-inch angle brush (the puffier and older the better!)

I’m using Liquitex Basics acrylic paint in the following colors:
• Mars Black
• Titanium White
• Ultramarine Blue
• Alizarin Crimson
But you can use any colors you like.
