1 Peter 3:7 says, "Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life so that your prayers may not be hindered."

So, if we enter marriage with this understanding that husbands should honor their wives and that together, as husband and wife, we are heirs of the grace of life, then why does it feel like marriage is so hard? Why are marriages failing at every turn? Should single women still hold out hope for marriage when they see so many marriages ending in divorce?
