This video shows you how to install a harmonic balancer on your 2001-2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. For many vehicles, the harmonic balancer not only helps balance the engine, but also drives the accessory belt. If your engine is vibrating, or belts are slipping, you might need a new harmonic balancer.

This repair was done on a 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT 4.0L Crew Cab Pickup 4-Door RWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac
2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac
2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac
2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac
2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac
