In Bed with Pharao: The CONRAD CAIRO

The Conrad Cairo Hotel and Casino is a prominent hotel by the banks of the eternal Nile River. But this isn't just another polished hotel report. We'll also visit the mummies at the amazing Museum of Egyptian Civilisation, well take a private evening cruise in a motorless Feluka and you're invited to join in what's been one of the biggest breakfasts of my hotel life, and without the monotony of salmon and scrambled eggs.

Note: Since filming, many of the rooms have been renovated - I think the old-fashioned charm has been sacrificed for replaceable modernity. I'll leave the report as it is, though, as breakfast is a main draw here and the city itself remains exciting.
