I've uploaded a level by shodai1128 in the past, and I've also played a few more of their works, so I'm fairly familiar with their style. Given what I've seen, I'd say this is their coolest work thus far visually speaking. There is a lot going on at once, but if you take a closer look, the designs, backgrounds, and effects all look very good. The designs are mostly custom with lots of small details that are carefully put together, which, at the same time, match everything else going on due to similar colors and style. As a result, while it may have a lot going on visually, it doesn't feel like anything is out of place to me. It's also quite easy to play, and possibly beat on your first attempt, which goes to show that the detailed visuals don't negatively affect the gameplay experience. This is helped by nice distinction of color shades between the background and foreground, with the latter being noticeably brighter at most times. The detailed block designs also naturally stand out on top of the more art-based backgrounds. I will say that I think it goes a little overboard with the amount of arrows and other indicators for where to click, making the gameplay a little mindless, especially with this being requested for 8 Stars. For that difficulty, you can certainly trust the player to be able to read a bit more themselves rather than just clicking to indicators. As it stands, I'd say 7 or even 6 Stars works better. Despite this nitpick of the gameplay, though, I think this may have a chance at a Legendary rating due to the very good visuals. There is a huge amount of different, detailed art and block designs in this, which keeps it interesting from part to part. At the same time, it stays cohesive thanks to the consistent tech-based theming and shodai1128's style.
