Stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base was an Adventure. So much outdoor activities in Montana from hiking in Yellowstone National Park or Glacier National Park which are both only a few hours away. Luxury Ski resorts in the Kalispell area are great as well. Living in Montana is very unique offering lots of exploring, hunting and other numerous attractions in one of the most beautiful states our nation has to offer. Great Falls has a local airport near the Air Force National Guard but it is very small so don’t be surprised that you will be only 1 of 5 people on a small commercial plane. If your a wildlife or landscape photographer you’ll love it here as well. Lots of predatory birds and don’t forget about the fishing. Fishing in the Missouri River was a blast.
