Pallet Wall: Part I - Teardrop Camper Build 5x10

Hi! We're calling ourselves Fraser Far and this is our build "Serenity"! This is our first time building a teardrop trailer and we are excited to finally dismantle our 5x10 utility trailer and build a camper for our family of four!

Sorry we have been MIA! It is now early summer 2024 and I am finally putting together videos from our footage from 2022. And we still have some building to do!

When cutting the pallet boards off the pallets - to cut the boards, I (Kris) used my jigsaw and James used his circular saw (personal preference). And to cut through the nails in the middle James used an oscillating saw.

Not shown - to fix our wheel well issue - James did end up cut some 1/8 in plywood to fill in behind the wheel wells. This way, there will be plywood between the wheel well and yet still room for some insulation in the walls after that.

A little more about our build:
This Teardop trailer build is constructed on a re-purposed utility trailer. It will be a 5 x 10 camper - to fit two tall adults and our kids. We are looking forward to having this custom built teardrop to fit our family.

Our favorite features that we are planning on building:
- Fiberglassed pallet board walls (our first time using fiberglass!)
- Bunk bed for kids
- Plenty of camper storage
- Hatch and eventually a galley kitchen
- Internal headboard storage
- External access for toy storage
- Fits a Full XL Mattress
- Homemade Doors (hopefully - unless it proves too difficult, then we will buy)
- AC Shore Power and DC Battery Power with AC/DC Distribution Panel
