Rimba Lodge waa build in 1989 by local carpenter.
the first added in 1991 for the great Apes ( Kera Besar ) Kenferesi.
Rimba Lodge is the only one Lodge in Tanjung Puting National Park. There are 35 rooms in 3 different types, 1, Diamond Room 2. Emmerald Room 3 Amayhyse Room. All rooms with Airconditioning and Hot water shower. There is Big Reataurant and game room, big lobby, office & shop, Libbrary, Bird Walk Tower and also WIFI. it is unbelievable that can use wifi in the middle of the jungle. for the electricity they use sollar power, so it is will be for 24 hours.
it is really comfortable place to stay for the peoples who love Nature. everyday you can see Long Tailed Monkeys, Long Nose Monkeys, Squeerel, and sometimes if we are lucky we can see wild orangutan too.
remember some big aktris have been stay here like Julia Roberts, Joanna Lumley etc.
