Sweetbox는 프로듀서 Geo(지오)와 보컬 Jade Villalon(제이드 빌라론)으로 구성된 미국 출신 팝밴드입니다.
예전 싸이월드를 하셨던 분이시라면 한 번쯤은 들어본 적 있는 BGM으로 당시 한국에서 특히 인기가 많았던 그룹이었습니다.
아시아권에서는 선풍적인 인기를 끌었던 반면, 미국 본토에서는 비교적 인지도가 많지는 않은 팀이었다고 합니다.
이 팀의 음악은 팝과 클래식, 그리고 힙합을 조합한 퓨전 음악 스타일로 이곡 또한 전주에 베토벤의 월광소나타 1악장이 연주된 이후 댄스음악으로 전환됩니다.
곡의 가사내용은 '난 쉽게 질리니까 나한테 사랑을 강요하지도 말고, 구속하지도 말고, 내버려 둬'라는 내용을 담고 있습니다.
