BIHARI DAL PURI/ CHANA DAL STUFFED MASALA PURI / TRADITIONAL BIHARI DISH / दाल भरी पूरी

Dal puri is a famous traditional dish of Bihar. It is also called dal bhari puri in North India. It is made with wheat flour with spicy chana dal stuffing. It is made on the occasions of puja, marriage ceremonies or festivals. It is made specially as prasad in the Navami or Ram navami festival. It is served with kheer. its taste with kheer is really divine. So do try this very simple Dal puri and share your experiences with me. ~INGREDIENTS~
(For 18- 20 puris)

For dough
Whole wheat flour or atta- 2 cup(300 g)
Ghee- 2 tsp
Salt- 1 tsp

For stuffing
Chana dal- 1/2 cup
Haldi powder- 1 tsp
Salt- as per taste
Roasted cumin seed powder- 2 tsp
Ginger- 1/2 inch
Green chilli- 2
Finely chopped coriander leaves

Refined oil for frying
