Smriti, my friend from high school, who got into Oxford the same time I got into Cambridge. From being worried about not fitting into Oxbridge, going through the high and lows of it all, and both of us having graduated from Oxbridge - it’s been incredible having her by my side as a trusted confidante and dear friend for so many years. Apart from all other talents she possesses, Smriti has a beautiful way with words and a knack for capturing the most special moments. And it was so special that she was by my side during graduation, vlogging a lot of the precious footage you’ve seen in this video.

Ammie, my photographer. Having the technical skills to take incredible photos is great. But it’s even more of a talent to make others feel like the main characters. Ammie’s energy made me feel like the superstar throughout the day as she expertly guided my friends and I through such creative poses. Above all, Ammie knew exactly when, where and who to click, capturing priceless emotions in her pictures.

My Girton and Cambridge friends whom I got to share this day with, without whom it really wouldn’t have felt as special. And a special shout-out to Nivi, Preena and Anish who showered me with so much love despite not graduating themselves on the day 💛

My dear parents, who flew all the way from Singapore and put up with the UK just to watch me graduate. They stayed up late the previous night as I went through the plan for graduation day with them at least 10 times. And then woke up early on the day because I jumped into bed with them as I just couldn’t contain my excitement. They are the wind beneath my wings and I can’t believe they actually saw me graduate!

My brother, best friends, family members and family friends who tuned in LIVE for the Senate House ceremony from all around the world. I truly felt their love and blessings in that moment - such an indescribable feeling.

Lastly to ALL OF YOU - it means the world to me that you have sailed along with me on my Cambridge journey. The amount of love and encouragement I’ve received from this YouTube community, people who perhaps don’t even know me personally, is unbelievable. It is because of you all that I feel safe to be myself on such a public and vulnerable platform - thank you for cradling me in this space.
