Great Handheld Light Comparison (MCH EDC & HC, E2D Defender Ultra, EDCL2-T, HL-X, MicroStream)

These are some past and current handheld lights that many of you already have, or may be considering as upgrades to your current lights.
This isn't meant to be as in depth as some reviews, rather showing the pure output capabilities with fresh batteries across the board.

The lights here were all purchased with my own money, and are from my personal collection.
I selected each one at a different point in time, with a purpose in mind, and I do use them.

Keep in mind what your intended purpose and use is, just because I like one light over another doesn't mean it will necessarily be the right choice for you.
I tend to like lights with more punch and reach, so I'm looking for good color and high candela.
If you're looking for more flood, then there are definitely several lights here that will meet your criteria.

All lights that I use on the regular must be capable of using easily re-charged batteries, and have at least 1hr of continuous runtime with good to great output.
The 18650 lights are my preference across the board, flexibility in types of cells I can choose, and ease of re-charging a single battery.
While I do have rechargeable CR123A cells, those are a pain to deal with and usually require multiple cells per light.
