In a world where citizens are afraid of feeling the pain of loss when a loved one dies, the elderly and terminally ill are sent to The Facility. There, they are taken care of by caretakers who have been selected to tend to the soon-to-dead. This short film follows Briar, a young adult, as she is diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma (cancer) past the point of return. As she must deal with a detached caretaker as well as the knowledge that she doesn't have long to live, Briar writes letters to an old friend, hoping to find closure.
