Join me for a walk along the most famous and most historically significant route in all of Edinburgh - the legendary Royal Mile! Running for just over a mile between Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the Royal Mile is lined with staggering Scottish architecture, fascinating landmarks and more along its entire length, complemented with a brilliant atmosphere whatever time of year it is!

On this first part of our walk along the Royal Mile, we pass by a number of interesting landmarks, including Edinburgh Castle, Castle Rock, the Esplanade, Castlehill, Tolbooth Kirk, Lawnmarket, the former house of Robert Burns, Lady Stair's Close, Scottish Writers' Museum, Makars' Court, George IV Bridge, High Street, St. Giles' Cathedral, the Heart of Midlothian, Parliament Square, and Edinburgh Mercat Cross.
