This is one of our favourite walks: it starts with a 20 minute ride in a single chair lift (Kaiserlift), which makes it very quiet and relaxing. The walk itself is to Gamskogel at roughly 1500m, then a big round on the Wilder Kaiser plateau, traditionally followed by Schnitzel and Pommes at the Liftstüberl, the best Schnitzel in Austria! It gets crowded in summer, but in spring it is a sea of flowers and not too busy.
