If you are looking for an ab workout that you can do for the next 28 days on your way to building to a six pack, then you’ve come to the right place. In this video, I’m going to give you a 10 minute follow along ab workout that can be done by anyone, anywhere.

This follow along abs workout is designed to be able to performed by all ability levels, from beginner to advanced, in the comfort of your own home. All you need is a little space on the ground.

The structure of this ab workout is simple.

There are 8 exercises, each being performed for either 30, 40, or 50 seconds (depending on your ability level). If you are a beginner, you will perform each ab exercise for 30 seconds and rest the remaining 30 seconds before the next exercise. Intermediates doing this ab workout will go for 40 seconds and rest 20 seconds between exercises. For the advanced out there, 50 seconds of work before 10 seconds of rest.

Don’t worry if you have trouble making it all the way through on each exercise; you will be doing this ab workout over the course of the next 28 days, so you will be able to build up your endurance on these ab exercises and be able to last the entire 50 seconds on each exercise as you look to carve out your 6 pack.

Here is how the workout breaks down:

1. Pendulum Tucks - 30/40/50 seconds | 30/20/10 seconds rest
2. Grape Vines (Left) - 30/40/50 seconds | 30/20/10 seconds rest
3. Grape Vines (Right) - 30/40/50 seconds | 30/20/10 seconds rest
4. Canoe Crunch - 30/40/50 seconds | 30/20/10 seconds rest
5. Archer Crunches (Left) - 30/40/50 seconds | 30/20/10 seconds rest
6. Archer Crunches (Right) - 30/40/50 seconds | 30/20/10 seconds rest
7. Crossups - 30/40/50 seconds | 30/20/10 seconds rest
8. 4-Point Rocking Planks - 30/40/50 seconds | 30/20/10 seconds rest
9. Plank Taps - 30/40/50 seconds | 30/20/10 seconds rest
10. Superman Lifts - 30/40/50 seconds | 30/20/10 seconds rest

One of the best parts about this home abs workout is that it allows you train the entirety of the abs by preferentially influencing different fibers of the abs. When it comes to influencing the lower abs, we need ab movements that bring the pelvis closer to your trunk by bringing your legs up towards your fixed torso. For the fibers of the upper abs, we want top down movements, meaning you are bringing your torso closer to your fixed pelvis. If you are looking to frame your abs with obliques, then you will need rotational movements.

In this workout for six pack abs, we’ll be effectively targeting each area of the abs so that everything is developed proportionately.
