1. Mandatory KYC Updates: FASTag users must update their Know Your Customer (KYC) details for tags issued between three to five years ago by October 31, 2024. Failure to do so may lead to account blacklisting.

2. Replacement of Old FASTags: Any FASTag older than five years must be replaced entirely. This measure ensures the reliability of toll payment systems.

3. Linking to Vehicle Details: All FASTags must now be linked to the vehicle's registration number and chassis number. This change is crucial to prevent misuse and improve transaction accuracy.

4. Photo Upload Requirement: Users are required to upload clear images of the front and side of their vehicles. This measure aids in better identification and verification.

5. Mobile Number Linking: Each FASTag must be connected to a mobile number. This requirement enhances communication and ensures users receive timely updates.

6. New Vehicle Registration Updates: For new vehicle owners, the registration number must be updated in the FASTag system within 90 days of purchase.

7. Database Verification by Providers: FASTag service providers are mandated to verify and update their databases to ensure all vehicle information is accurate and current.

These changes are designed to streamline the toll payment process and reduce congestion at toll booths, making compliance essential for all FASTag users.
