Şahinkaya Kanyonu
Kızılırmak nehri üzerindeki en dar, en uzun geçit olan, dağ oluşumu (Orojenez) ve akarsu aşındırması sonucu meydana gelen Şahinkaya Kanyonu 2,5 km uzunluğundadır.
Vezirköprü İlçesi’nde Altınkaya Baraj Gölü’nde bulunan Şahinkaya Kanyonu, kente gelen yerli ve yabancı turistlerin ilgi odağı oldu. 3 bin 250 metre uzunluktaki kanyonda su derinliğinin ortalama 106 metre olduğu kanyon yüksekliğinin ise 340 metreye kadar çıktığı belirtildi. Çeltek köyü mevkii ve Şahinkaya kanyonu Kültür ve turizm Bakanlığı tarafından Turizm bölgesi ilan edildi. Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı 05/06/2011 tarihli Resmi Gazetede yayımlanarak yürürlüğe girdi.
Vezirköprü’nün 17 km. kadar kuzeybatısında bulunan Kanyon (Yarmavadi), Altınkaya barajının en dar yeri olma özelliği ile de dikkat çeker ve yaklaşık 1500 metre uzunluğundadır. Vezirköprü'de sadece Osmanlı ve Selçuklu değil, Hititlere kadar uzanan bir medeniyet geçmişinin izleri ve birikimleri var. Hitit Krallarının tahta çıkarken kutsandığı yer de Vezirköprü' dedir. Şu an bu bölgede Alman arkeologlar kazı çalışmaları yapıyor. Dolayısıyla gerek Kunduz Dağı gerekse Şahinkaya Kanyonu gelecek yıllar içinde gerçekleşecek adımlarla hatırı sayılır bir çekim yeri olma yoluna girmiştir.
Vezirsuyu Tabiat Parkı
Vezirsuyu Tabiat Parkı, çevresi sularla kaplı bir yarımada hüviyetinde olup Vezirköprü ilçesinin kuzeybatısında, takriben 190-300 m rakımları arasında konumlanmaktadır.
Altınkaya Baraj Gölü bitişiğinde bulunduğundan ülkemizde ormanın yeşili ve suyun mavisinin buluştuğu, eşsiz peyzaj özelliklerine sahip nadir yerlerdendir.
Tabiat Parkı'nın 35 hektarlık alanı, Orman ve Su İşleri Bakanlığı Makamının 10.08.2017 tarihli ve 716 sayılı Olurları ile sınır değişikliği yapılarak 288 hektara çıkarılmıştır.
Şahinkaya Canyon
Şahinkaya Canyon, which is the narrowest and longest passage on the Kızılırmak River and was formed as a result of mountain formation (Orogenesis) and river erosion, is 2.5 km long.
Şahinkaya Canyon, located in Altınkaya Dam Lake in Vezirköprü District, became the center of attention of local and foreign tourists coming to the city. It was stated that the average water depth in the 3,250-meter-long canyon is 106 meters and the canyon height is up to 340 meters. Çeltek village location and Şahinkaya canyon were declared a Tourism region by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It came into force after being published in the Official Gazette of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism dated 05/06/2011.
17 km from Vezirköprü. The Canyon (Yarmavadi), located in the northwest of the city, attracts attention with its feature of being the narrowest part of the Altınkaya Dam and is approximately 1500 meters long. In Vezirköprü, there are traces and accumulations of a civilization past extending not only to the Ottoman and Seljuk, but also to the Hittites. The place where the Hittite Kings were sanctified when ascending to the throne is also in Vezirköprü. German archaeologists are currently carrying out excavations in this region. Therefore, both Kunduz Mountain and Şahinkaya Canyon are on their way to becoming a considerable attraction with the steps that will be taken in the coming years.
Vezirsuyu Nature Park
Vezirsuyu Nature Park is a peninsula surrounded by water and is located in the northwest of Vezirköprü district, at an altitude of approximately 190-300 m.
Since it is located adjacent to Altınkaya Dam Lake, it is one of the rare places in our country with unique landscape features where the green of the forest and the blue of the water meet.
Şahinkaya-Schlucht
Die Şahinkaya-Schlucht, die engste und längste Passage des Kızılırmak-Flusses und durch Gebirgsbildung (Orogenese) und Flusserosion entstanden ist, ist 2,5 km lang.
Die Şahinkaya-Schlucht am Stausee Altınkaya im Bezirk Vezirköprü wurde zum Mittelpunkt der Aufmerksamkeit einheimischer und ausländischer Touristen, die in die Stadt kamen. Es wurde angegeben, dass die durchschnittliche Wassertiefe in der 3.250 Meter langen Schlucht 106 Meter und die Schluchthöhe bis zu 340 Meter beträgt. Die Lage des Dorfes Çeltek und die Schlucht Şahinkaya wurden vom Ministerium für Kultur und Tourismus zur Tourismusregion erklärt. Es trat mit der Veröffentlichung im Amtsblatt des Ministeriums für Kultur und Tourismus vom 05.06.2011 in Kraft.
17 km von Vezirköprü entfernt. Der Canyon (Yarmavadi) im Nordwesten der Stadt fällt durch seine Besonderheit auf, dass er der engste Teil des Altınkaya-Staudamms ist und etwa 1500 Meter lang ist. In Vezirköprü gibt es Spuren und Ansammlungen einer zivilisatorischen Vergangenheit, die nicht nur auf die Osmanen und Seldschuken, sondern auch auf die Hethiter zurückgeht. Der Ort, an dem die hethitischen Könige bei ihrer Thronbesteigung geweiht wurden, befindet sich ebenfalls in Vezirköprü. Deutsche Archäologen führen derzeit Ausgrabungen in dieser Region durch. Daher sind sowohl der Kunduz-Berg als auch der Şahinkaya-Canyon mit den Schritten, die in den kommenden Jahren unternommen werden
