Today's postcard features Davóne at last week's spectacular virtual Gala when he performed "The Cold Song" from Henry Purcell's King Arthur. Accompanied by Adam Nielsen, Davóne's stirring performance was recorded at the Williamsburg Music Center, a Black-owned jazz venue in Brooklyn — owned and operated by jazz legend Gerry Eastman, brother of the late composer, pianist, vocalist and dancer Julius Eastman.

I know that Davóne is looking forward to getting to know you, our audience, and to seeing you in person very soon. Please join me in welcoming him to the Philharmonia family!
