The FMS Ranger 1.8m is easy to assemble and has stable and predictable handling characteristics. I call it an acrobatic Cessna. Full rates with 30% expo all around and a Rolling Tops 4s 5500 70c all the way forward makes her a dream to fly. She makes nice scale take offs as well as take offs within 10ft and cruise at 1/3 throttle with the flaps down. STOL is in its DNA. She has a spring–cushioned nose gear and robust metal main landing gears. The Ranger will absorb just about any landing impact. The durable, oversized wheels are designed specifically for rough field operations. She also has landing lights and strobe nav lights.
