Type 075 Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) of Chinese Navy | Yushen-Class Amphibious Assault Ship 2021

The Type 075 landing helicopter dock is a class of Chinese amphibious assault ship built by the Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding company for the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN). It has a full-length flight deck for helicopter operations, and features a floodable well deck from which to disembark hovercraft and armored amphibious assault vehicles.

The development work on the Type 075 LHD officially started in 2011. The image of construction was revealed in June 2019,

The first ship Hainan launched on 25 September 2019 and was commissioned on 23 April 2021.


Earlier reports said Chinese military leadership had decided to build a more powerful Type 076 amphibious assault ship with electromagnetic catapult systems.
